Pet Obedience and Foundation Agility Instructor
Her love for animals began as a child growing up with dogs, cats and horses. Earning her pet grooming certification, she went on to open her own grooming salon for 14 years. Through this, Chris developed a “knack” for dealing with behavioral issues using patience and a positive approach. Handling dogs that were turned away from others, Chris became known for her ability to work with dogs of varying temperaments. She earned her CPDTA-KA Certification for Professional Dog Trainers and she is also an APDT Member. Earning numerous titles in Rally, Agility, Obedience and Conformation has made Chris an exceptionally well rounded instructor. Also, Chris is a Reiki Master and Canine Massage Therapist and volunteers with the Charlestown Animal Shelter conducting behavioral assessments to assist in their adoption program.
Pepper and I missed tuesday nights class. We were both sick. Me with something like the flu and her with a lepto vaccine reaction. So if you could let us know what we should be practicing we would love to keep up with the rest of the class. We have been doing heal, around, sit from down, down from distance, down at recall and with distractions stay, also she has been practicing her “bow”.
